1.TDC Sensor-Symptoms:Difficulty starting/cutting out/rough running
Looks like a butterfly,but is in a different place on most engines,and it isn`t a part
of the diagnostic tests either which renault will never find the problem by just plugging the car into
their diagnostic computer.
Solution:Remove and clean the TDC sensor(it`s bassicaly a magnet.)
2.Egr valve-Sympthom:Engine has lumpy idling or stalls when idling.
Solution:You can clean it using carburettor cleaner.
3.Immobiliser(stopping engine from running.)-Symphtoms:Imobiliser light flashes faster than normal when turning the key
No response from engine
Solution: reset immobiliser
How to reset imobiliser?
- Turn key to on possition(one before engine crans over) and leave it for 30 sec.
-turn it back to off,leaving the key in for 30 sec
-turn it back to on possition for 30 sec
-then crank it over
4.Wiring Loom-Sympthom:Low power in engine,engine dies during normal running but possibly restarts.
